There is an approximate 14ft wide by 50 ft long carport attached to the mobile home without permits or zoning approvals. This carport has 2x4 rafters spanning the full width of 14ft. The support post are wooden 4x4 posts and alternating metal scroll posts. The beam supporting the carport’s decking is a wood 4x6, however the beam has been installed that the 6 inches is the width, and the 4 inches is the height. The carports decking is damaged and in need of replacement for it has open penetrations. The height of the carport (approximately 10ft) may be encroaching the required set back.
