11/27/2024 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation 908 am - Responded to property to serve search warrant to condemn and secure home. Found the front door and front window are both open and not secure. Knocked and called out, there was no ans. The inside of the home is infested with pigeons due to can hear pigeons cooing from standing outside the home. The entire property is full of trash and debris in the front yard, side yards, and rear yard. There is animal waste throughout the property. There are extension cords ran throughout the property, including into an abandoned vehicle that has multiple cats living in it. There is a shed w/ a cat inside a cage. On the west side of the home, the water heater room is open and unsecured. There is a PVC pipe coming out of the ground that has water. When water is turned on, meter 15553012 runs and shows consumption, which belongs to parcel to the west. Pima Animal Control was called out and responded, removed multiple cats from the property. Unable to remove all pigeons at this time and they will be coming back to remove them. City contractor was called out to secure the structure. Multiple romex lines were found run underground and under the fence that entered the parcel to the west. Would appear the electrical lines are connected to the front home of 3315 E Bermuda St. Owner of that property was notified for possible electricity theft and water theft and sent a property manager out who disconnected the illegal electrical line hookups. The structure at 3319 was red tagged Unsafe to Occupy. Biff Baker was called out and installed 3 fence panels at the front of the property to prevent unauthorized access. -VM
