Found the fire burned a wood fence between the main structure and the rear structure, and impacted the south part of the rear structure. Fire damage to roof structural members and roof sheathing on the south side of the building. The front door and the door to an apparent utility closet on the north side of the building are removed and windows are all broken and removed. There is a hole into the utility room wall. Ceiling is removed in the living space off the front door. Drywall is removed from walls throughout. There is graffiti inside the unit. It appears the water heater is removed. Electrical outlets have been removed, electric lines are exposed. Electrical previously removed per notes in September 2023 per case CE-VIO0623-03973. There is evidence of camping activities outside of the structure and inside the structure. Called and left a message for the owner. City contractor was called and boarded the structure, which was posted with red tags Unsafe to Occupy. Owner needs to rehabilitate structure with a Residential Addition Alteration Permit, or demolish the structure under permit. -VM |
