150 pm - Followup on site. Found in water heater closet that since my last inspection, the ceiling has been removed and brings to light the fact that there is unsafe electrical in the form of a new romex line spliced into an existing line that is connected w/ electric tape and no junction box. It runs to a recently (since my last inspection) moved outlet behind fridge. Found previously exposed wires have been moved up the wall into a new outlet. Found a new outlet receptacle installed, is a double outlet, was previously an outlet and a switch. HOME NEEDS A FULL ELECTRICAL PLAN AND INSPECTIONS. The mini split permits applied for do not address the new electrical for the mini splits, and the new recessed lighting is not addressed. Advsd homeowner on phone and worker on site absolutely no more electrical work may be performed and ceiling in water heater room may not be enclosed until the hazardous electrical is inspected. Advsd will provide one final 30 day extension. -VM |
