Arrived on scene at 4:20 AM to a motor vehicle accident into a detached carport structure at the far southeast corner of the property abutting East 5th Street. The vehicle took out an approximately 10 foot by 6 foot section of the load bearing brick wall on the south end of the carport structure. There is no sagging in the roof and pushing up on the roof structural members results in no movement. At this time, there is no imminent danger of the roof collapsing. Repairs are required to be made by a licensed contractor with an Issued building permit. -VM |
