Inspection History: COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial

Date Description Inspector Results Comments
09/30/2026 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation During inspection on site, it is apparent the electrical service drop lacks the required 8 foot clearance to a roof and that the rear porch structure has been reconstructed. It is also apparent the windows at the back of the building on the east and west sides of building were reduced in size and wall filled in. After extensive research, a Notice of violation sent out for following items:

1. There was an existing rear porch structure as depicted on the property record card dated 1964 that has been reconstructed sometime after March 2022.
2. The electrical service drop for the duplex was previously attached to the aforementioned rear porch structure. Research brings to light the fact that the electrical service drop has been moved and the electrical conductors now run parallel to, and overhead the north wall of the structure. This poses a risk of injury or death to persons due to electrocution and is in violation of electrical codes. This work was also done sometime after March 2022.
3. Two (2) existing windows on the east and west wall of the structure have been removed and wall has been filled in. A smaller size window has been installed in both locations.
4. A new water heater and associated plumbing has been installed
5. The front porch has been reconstructed and it appears lighting has been added
