10/17/2024 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation PAGE 1 OF 2 - Arrived and found a vehicle struck a power pole along Alvernon Wy which caused the power pole to land on the north east portion of the north building on the property. This caused a fire in the roof and attic above Units 206 and 207. Damage noted as follows:
-Unit 206 CONDEMNED Large portions of ceiling removed, insulation down throughout unit. Large holes cut throughout roof. Unknown structural damage to roof structural members, electric, water, or gas lines in the attic space. Water damage throughout. Gas meter to this unit was found removed upon arrival. A permit is required to reconnect gas service.
-Unit 207 CONDEMNED Large portions of ceiling removed, insulation down throughout unit. Apparent smoke damage to roof structural members and roof sheathing. Unknown structural damage to roof structural members, electric, water, or gas lines in the attic space. Water damage throughout. Gas service to this unit was found off upon arrival. A permit is required to reconnect gas service.
-Unit 106 CONDEMNED Smoke in unit. Water draining out of ceiling, ventilation/vents, kitchen soffit. Gas service to this unit was found off upon arrival. A permit is required to reconnect gas service.
-Unit 107 CONDEMNED Smoke in unit. Water draining out of ceiling, vents, light fixtures. There is an inch or more of standing water throughout the floor of the unit. Gas service to this unit was found off upon arrival by TFD. A permit is required to reconnect gas service.
-Unit 208 - Hole is cut in ceiling and insulation on floor to check for fire. Smoke in unit. Water pooled at front door, likely came through front door as no water observed coming into unit from ceiling. No other damage observed.
