On site with Inspector JZ, met with the tenant, who reported several concerns regarding Unit 3. The tenant stated that there was no ventilation in the kitchen; however, ventilation was present above the stove, and the front door and windows provide natural ventilation. Observed that the shower floor was not properly sloped to drain water, and no bathroom ventilation was present. The front windows had malfunctioning opening mechanisms, allowing them to open only approximately 30% of the way. Spoke with management regarding the observed conditions and sent a notice of violation to the property owner. |
