Checked the entire parking area around the Peter Piper Pizza and the area to the west abutting 12th Av. Found no water bubbling up on the ground. There are small puddles of water in the parking lot however there is not visible water bubbling up in them, and there is currently light rain falling. Did speak with on site security who has been on this site for the past 3 days and he showed me a manhole that he states was bubbling up the past few days. He states a plumber was out this morning and snaked lines at the Food City and since then there has been no overflowing sewage. A second bystander also states sewage was coming up out of this manhole. I confirmed the manhole was in fact the same as in the photos sent in by the complainant. At this time, it would appear there is no overflowing sewage and this case will be closed. -VM |
