Per TFD on scene, resident reported bathroom exhaust fan was making weird noises for the past day or two, and today it caught on fire and fire burned parts of the building. Per TFD, fire was isolated to the unit only. Water damage in the unit. Per TFD, TEP had responded and cut power at the meter prior to my arrival. Per resident and TFD, this building does not have gas service. Unit below, 186, had water intrusion however there was no water entering the unit on my arrival. Resident reports water was entering unit through the exhaust fan in the bathroom. Found no tripped breakers in the unit, however did find a missing breaker. Will require a licensed electrician to review electrical system of Unit 186 and replace the exhaust fan. Resident of 286 locked unit and signed NAO to secure unit.
