Kitchen fire. Interior ceiling drywall, insulation, paint and cabinetry around the stove burned. Paint peeled off. Fire Dept knocked hole in ceiling and pulled out insulation checking for any fire inside roof. No fire inside roof area. Inteiror wood not damaged. Owner is a Licensed Electrician. Electrical service in the kitchen area isolated. Had owner completely remove the electrical circuits to prevent any further damage. Owner to isolate the kitchen area with plastic. Permits will be required to repair the kitchen area. NOV issued to the owner Evaluate the entire electrical system, drywall in kitchen needs to be replaced, insulation in the roof will need to be replaced. Permits required for the repair to the kitchen. |
