09/23/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a mobile home fire. Arrived and all the units were still on site and were starting to clean up. The fire investigators were on site checking for cause. The fire started from the exterior of the mobile home and burned into the hallway and damage to the walls and ceiling with burning of wires in the soffit. The window by the cooler was broken and the rear door was cut to gain entry. The electrical was removed at the meter due to the amount of damage. The property had no gas and the water was left on. There is smoke damage through out and damage was contained to the hallway area and the exterior by the cooler. Had an extension cord going to the cooler from an outlet and appears that the cord got hot and had a mattress against the extension cord and started to burn. The owner was going to secure the site and signed the paperwork on site.
