12/06/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial Passed VISITED SITE, MET WITH MANAGER LISA MACHADO WHO INSTANTLY ASKED ME IF I WAS THERE FOR THE NOISE AND I REPLIED THAT I WAS. SHE WALKED ME THRU THE EAST UNIT STATED ALARM SYSTEM HAS BEEN CHECKED, THE ALARMS ON THE DOORS HAVE BEEN CHECKED. I WALKED THE HALWAYS AND LOBBY BUT FOUND NO HIGH PITCHED NOISES, IT WAS ACTUALLY VERY QUIET EXCEPT FOR PEOPLE COMING IN AND OUT AND SITTING IN THE LOBBY CHATTING. WE WALKED TO THE WEST UNIT WERE OCCUPANT/ COMPLAINTANT LIVED. THEY AGAIN HAD ALARMS ON EXTERIOR DOORS CHECKED, WE WALKED THE LOBBY THAT WAS MORE QUIET THAN THE EAST SIDE BECAUSE THERE WAS LESS TRAFFIC, NOBODY IN THE LOBBY. WE WALKED THE COMMON AREA BETWEEN BUILDINGS, IT WAS VERY PLEASANT, NO NOISE, WELL MAINTAINED. I THEN CHECKED THE BACK UP GENERATOR OUTSIDE THE PERIMETER WALL, MANAGER STATED IT GETS CHECKED TWICE A YEAR FOR MAINTANENCE, I FOUND IT HAS A LOW CONSTANT HUMMING NOISE I WALKED 25 FEET AWAY AND THE GENERATOR COULD NO LONGER BE HEARD AND THE BACK UP GENERATOR IS REQUIRED . THE OCCUPANT LIVES 150 FEET AWAY. I WALKED THE EXTERIOR DRIVEWAY AND PARKING AREA BUT FOUND NO HIGH PITCHED NOISE. THERE IS ALSO A 6 FT PERIMETER WALL AROUND THE PROPERTY. I FOUND NOTHING AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION. NO VIOLATIONS. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
