At the time of inspection, the interior was observed to be maintained in an unsafe and unsanitary condition. The dwelling was observed to have excessive interior storage and accumulation of personal property, including bedding, clothing, household items, and other materials throughout the living/sleeping area. The quantity and placement of these materials create an unsafe condition and may obstruct or impede safe access and egress from the dwelling. The interior was also observed to have insect infestation, including reported/observed bed bug activity and spiders/spider webs. The sleeping area, bedding, mattresses, floors, and surrounding areas were observed to be in an unsanitary condition conducive to the presence and continued infestation of insects and other pests. An electrical hazard was also observed within the dwelling. Electrical equipment/wiring was observed in a condition that is not maintained in a hazard-free and safe condition. The electrical hazard shall be evaluated and corrected by a qualified person(licensed contractor) as required. TEP has disconnected service from this unit only(meter removed). The unit has been condemned and must remain vacant until all violations are abated. Unit was secured by city contractor. Permits are required for all repairs/replacements. Owner has 60 days to apply/obtain required permits. Pest control services must be arranged within 10 days of notice. "Do Not Enter" signs and all necessary documents were posted on the front window. |
