Talked to owner about verifing the repairs to the rental unit: Smoke detectors, burned outlets, missing light fixtures, circuits not labeled, ac working, water heater (permit required), popcorn ceiling was peeling, drywall on ceiling had a hole, hole in the bedroom wall, mold on the floor in hallway closet, door knobs were not properly installed, broken windows, facia paint peeling/paint wood, install window in bedroom area, roofing sheating on roof coming off, holes in the roofing wood, overgrown veg, refuse on lot. On 1/23/25 spoke to owner about needing to verify the repairs to the rental unit.
07/30/2025 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation Sat down with owner discussed the violations on property and explained why the violations were hazardous to the residents he is renting to. Discussed the smoke detectors, wh, electrical, holes in walls, windows not completely installed correctly, front door damaged, lack of weather stripping around the door, facia missing the paint.
10/22/2025 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation Discussed not being able to enter apt to verify rental unit has been fixed. Owner states the occupant works nights and sleeps all day. She has a huge dog that is aggressive. Let him know I need to verify all the violations have been addressed. Let owner know I will follow up 1st wk of Nov. Owner will work out the issue with the occupant.
