Called out to site by TPD. Car drove into West wall of restaurant KOTU Korean BBQ. Two window panels for a total area of approximately 10’ x 10’ are damaged. There is no apparent damage to the ceiling in the outside area. On the inside, the windows pushed in a walled off area that covers a gas line that services three tables that have gas cooktops. The Wall is covering the gas line, so unable to determine if the gas line has damage. Requested SW gas to be dispatched to turn off gas service. Contacted city Boardup contractor to Boardup the damaged windows. Southwest Gas responded and turned off service at the meter. City contractor boarded the damaged area. Business owner signed the NOV. Permits are required for repairs with use of a licensed contractor. -VM |
