Per TFD, they believe the fire was set to paper like construction paper covering the elevator walls. The wood panels of the elevator have burned. There is burn damage to the carpet of the elevator. There is smoke damage to the ceiling. The elevator functions as intended and was able to move between floors. The damage does not appear to have impacted anything beyond the wood panels and carpet at this time. There was no property management or ownership on site. Called the property manager and left a message w/ employee. Did caution tape all 3 floors entrances to elevator. TFD was unable to access the elevator room due to wrong key in the knox box. Will close case. -VM |
