Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a tree on the roof of the house and leaking into the house. Arrived and the ladder truck on site and the tree is from the neighbors property and fell against the front of the house. The tree hit the masonry parapet and damage the top row of brick where it's loose. Has a dent in the masonry wall where the trunk of the tree is stuck into the wall in the living room area. No damage to the electrical, gas, no broken windows, all doors to exit are OK. There is hole in the roof in the living room area and water was leaking into the living room ceramic flooring. T.F.D. made a plastic trough to drain water if it starts to rain again to the exterior through a sliding glass door. The owner lives alone and will be able to remain in the house tonight and was advised that when the tree is being cut may be asked to leave for awhile. The owner signed the paperwork on site. RV. |
