The fire investigators were on site and checking for cause. The unit was a vacant unit and the fire was started on the rear porch area and burned into the unit. The bathroom window and the rear door were burned with broken glass and the door removed. The interior has heavy smoke damage and the ceiling and walls have holes in the drywall or pulled down to check for fire. The electrical was removed at the pedestal and had no gas to the unit. The rear porch was burned and a wall that separates the units. The water heater was burned in the fire. The roof shingles have fire damage at the rear porch area. No venting was done. Not able to locate the owner and called Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the unit secured. The unit as vacant and did find a backpack in the front room and was left on site when secured. Posted the paperwork and Do Not Enter on the front windows. RV. |
