There was no natural gas connected to the unit and TEP cut the electric to the unit at the meter. The fire originated from the stove and the damage was contained to that area. smoke damage was throughout the unit. Myself and Inspector Morales made contact with the unit above, beside and behind unit 167 to see if the fire affected those units which it did not. There was drywall damage and possible damage to the wiring behind the stove area. I made contact with the management to have them sign the notice to vacate the unit and the indemnification form because the management agreed to secure the unit themselves, a do not enter sign was posted on the window. I also provided them guidance for applying for a reconnect permit through PDSD |
