08/09/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial Passed VISITED SITE, FIRST MET WITH MANAGER AND MAINTANENCE MANAGER WHO INFORMED ME FIRST OF ALL THAT THERE ARE TWO GATES TO THE PROPERTY AND ONE GATE HAS BEEN BLOCKED OFF AND THE 2ND GATE IS ALWAYS LOCKED. MAINTANENCE STATED THEY WERE OVER YESTERDAY AND REPLACED ONE OF THE WINDOW A/C UNITS AND THAT NOW THEY HAVE 3 WORKING A/C UNITS INSIDE THE HOUSE. I TRIED TO GAIN ENTRY THRU THE GATE BUT IT WAS LOCKED. I CONTACTED THE OCCUPANT WHO STATED THEY ACTUALLY HAVE 4 UNITS IN THE HOUSE, 3 ARE WORKING AND THE UNIT IN HER DAUGHTERS BEDROOM HAS MOLD AND IS NOT BLOWING COLD AIR. I AGAIN SPOKE TO MAINTANENCE AND ASKED IF THEY COULD LOOK AT THE A/C UNIT IN DAUGHTERS ROOM, HE STATED HE WAS BOOKED FOR THE REST OF THURSDAY BUT WOULD LOOK AT IT ON FRIDAY. MESSAGE WAS RELAYED TO THE OCCUPANT. I ALSO EXPLAINED IT WOULD BE EASIER FOR EVERYONE IF THE GATE WAS LEFT UNLOCKED IN CASE OF A EMERGENCY BUT THE OCCUPANT STATED THERE WERE TOO MANY HOMELESS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. THREE WINDOW A/C UNITS WORKING 4TH UNIT HAS MOLD AND NOT BLOWING COLD AIR. OCCUPANTS DO HAVE COLD AIR IN 2 BEDROOMS AND THE LIVINGROOM. I WAS UNABLE TO ENTER THE PROPERTY BUT WHAT THE OCCUPANT TOLD ME WAS VERIFIED BY THE MAINTANENCE MANAGER. I ALSO TOLD OCCUPANT IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH REPAIRS TO THE 4TH UNIT TO CALL. THERE ARE NO VIOLATIONS AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
