| 08/07/2026 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up | In Violation | Tall grass and weeds, refuse on the property lot and adjacent to the lot, dilapidated shade structure in the back yard, 3 appliances placed in the back yard, wrought iron door located in the back yard, ladder propped up against the back wall of the house, all the windows and doors are open on this day which it happens to be 108 degree, large dead tree in the front yard, it appear the water meter may have been tampered with, the front fence is damaged by the fallen tree. While inspecting the site. I did see a man inside the house looking at me. I went to the front door and knocked. The man would not come to the front door. I waited and knocked several times. I called out, letting the person know I was with the City of Tucson, Code Enforcement. Further research finds the owner is deceased. The water bill is in collection post a notice of violation. Water acknowledge meter is being tampered. Interior house had ceilings damaged due to roof leak from exterior water. Dry wall discolored and dropping with a large gaping hole exposing the insulation. Food on the floor and all over the counter. Appeared to have mouse droppings at the edges of the cabinets. Electrical outlets missing covers and pushed into the walls. Electrical light fixtures on the ceiling and walls were hanging from the wires. The entire house was extremely warm/hot. The air was muggy and smelled of human feces and cat urine. The bed room had raw sewage on the floor that came from the bathroom and was puddling near the foot of the bed. The bathroom was filthy to sat the least. The house was shut down. Electrical dis connected. Water was disconnected due to non payment. Contacted SWG to disconnect services.
