Inspected rental unit. Interior appears to be minimal damage from the inside. Water did come inside at the edges of the walls in the corner area. Occupants both stated they did not want to be moved. They are happy with the current situation. Discussed the fact that what happened next door is possible. Occupant expressed they did not want to leave unless they absolutely had too. Roofer stated they were going to cover the roofing with plastic and place sand bags on top of the plastic to prevent water from entering the unit. Issued notice of violation to the owner and discussed the potential of the unit 3818 getting further damage. At this point it was not anything like 3810. |
