Unit 1418 still contains insects, noxious pests, several insects were in the corners of the unit, walls, floor and cabinets, contaminated general food items, on the rice packets, etc. The infestation threatens the health, safety or welfare of persons; mother and children. Spoke to the tenant about the issue, stated, on going nuisance, even with the general pest control treatment for the building. Tenant is very uncomfortable in her own unit, scared to cook for her children, and sleep, there is always something crawling around in each corner. Tenant stated she spoke to the other residents of the apartment who also claimed they have similar problems. Spoke to property manager about the roach infestation. Received invoice for the pests control. However, the violation remains, it has been longer than two weeks since treatment, and insects are still roaming in Unit 1418. Citation has been issued for today's violation of T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-11(h) Interior insect and rodent control. The interior of all buildings and structures shall be kept free from infestation of insects, rodents and other noxious pests where such infestation threatens the health, safety or welfare of a person or persons. |

Pest control fogged the Unit that morning stated by tenant, and property management. Unit had an infestation of insects, and other noxious pests where such infestation threatens the health, safety or welfare of a person or persons. Will follow up in two weeks to how unit will progress since it was stated that it was fogged, want to hear back from manager and tenant. This is second time they had done pest control, unit, still in violation at this time. |
