1118 AM - Cooling system inoperable. Interior temperature 88.6 degrees on temperature probe in living room. Two portable AC units installed. One in bedroom. Second is in living room, using extension cords to power unit. Extension cord is warm to the touch. No smoke detector in bedroom. Spoke with property manager on site. She states complex is cooled by a chiller system and repairs are scheduled for Monday or Tuesday of next week. Maintenance responded and removed the extension cord, plugged unit directly into kitchen outlet. Maintenance also installed a smoke detector in the bedroom. Issued NOVs on site to property manager. -VM |
