206 PM - Large piles of construction debris at the northwest part of property visible from the alley abutting the west part of property. Items include wood beams, pavers, bathtubs, gates, fencing, doors, plywood. Trash and debris in the alley including chunks of concrete, plant debris. Large dead pine tree in the rear yard. A large porch has been attached to and constructed on the structure at the west central portion of the property. Prickly pear cactus is growing into the street. Contact with wife of owner on site, denies running a business. Did hear chainsaws running, asked what it was, she said they are building a bathroom in the above mentioned structure. Construction worker came out of building and said he was adding piping for a washer and dryer. Homeowner denied entry to the structure. Posted a stop work order and notice of violation for 16–4. Did speak with owner following this. He states they are remodeling the structure and will be pulling plans for it. Said the building materials stored in the yard are to be used for remodeling of the property and are not stored there for a business. -VM |
