Did knock two times and new property manager knocked at the unit but the tenant did not answer, unable to gain entry to verify condition of the unit. -VM
02/21/2024 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation 257 PM - Reinspected unit with property manager on site. Unit is vacant and being worked on. Stairway railing is installed, is attached and sturdy, and has been repainted. The outlet with screws in it, Charge A on Citation 6917670 is not an electrical outlet and this charge will be dismissed. All other violations remain at this time. -VM
04/16/2024 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Passed 1114 AM - Reinspected with new tenants on site. Kitchen drywall has been repainted. The countertop surface has been resurfaced, is no longer peeling. Both light fixtures in kitchen are operable. Floor in upstairs has been repaired. The metal security door has been removed. All violations have been abated. -VM
04/29/2024 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Passed 135 PM - Conducted a followup at unit with Inspector Guido on site. Smoke detectors installed in both bedrooms. Outlet cover has been replaced. These items were not previously part of the citations issued. All violations have been abated. -VM
08/03/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation 920 AM - Spoke with tenant, states air has been repaired and now has cold air. Will followup on remainder of items at expiration of notice period. Did speak to the property manager Yazmin on site, did advise her of the active wasp nest under the roof eave. -VM
09/21/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation 1035 AM - Met with tenant on site. Cooling system is producing cold air, apartment is cool inside. Bathtub faucet is now operable. Cracked/damaged outlet cover was replaced near front door. Issued Citations: 6917669 for A. Damaged/patched drywall in kitchen, missing paint, cracking peeling. B. Countertop surface in kitchen is peeling, not being maintained. C. Railing has been installed in stairway, appears to be from another unit as paint is missing/peeling. D. Light fixture in kitchen is still inoperable. E. Floor in bathroom is still cracking, damaged, sinks in when walked on. 6917670 for A. Electric outlet in living room has screws inserted into neutral and hot poles, is painted over. B. Screen on exterior metal security door damaged, detached from door. -VM
