07/25/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation 150 PM - While on the property, did observe at unit 183 boards were removed from the front door and the unit to be vacant and unsecured. Attempted contact at the office, the office door was locked. Made contact with the security officer on site, he placed a call to the property manager who dispatched maintenance to the unit. Entered the unit with maintenance employees. The unit was found to be vacant and unsecured, extensive damage has been done to the interior of the unit to include the removal of drywall in the living area and kitchen area, fire alarm ripped off the wall, trash and debris scattered throughout. Evidence of squatting activity. The sliding door is removed and is currently boarded. There was no apparent electric to the unit. Maintenance did board up the open door. The unit was posted unsafe to occupy a notice of violation was posted on the boarded up door. -VM
