07/18/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation 1227 PM - Stairway railing is detached. Cooling system is producing cool air at this time. Wood under carport in front bathroom door sinks in when you step on it. Appears to be due to floor recently cut in this area due to leak. Will need to be assessed in the bathroom area and the area in front of bedroom across from closet. Did run hot water in bathroom. Hot water was available and ran for about 2 minutes. Spoke with maintenance supervisor on site. There was a leak in a condensation line over the weekend, plumber responded and cut holes into walls, ceiling and floor and also removed the light fixture in the kitchen. There is a new light fixture temporarily attached and there are no uncapped wires hanging in the kitchen. Workers were on site upon my arrival actively making repairs. Tenant will be moving out of the unit to allow repairs to all items. Did advise the apartment management needs to have stairway railing installed ASAP and remainder of issues can be addressed once the tenant moves out. -VM
