Had a fire in 2102 and the unit was filled with smoke. Had blower blowing the smoke out. The unit is a 2-story structure and holes were made on the 1st floor to check for fire in the floor joists. Found no fire in the area and were done in the living room and the kitchen area against the unit involve in the fire. The furniture in the living room has been pushed to the center of the room and drywall on the floor. The kitchen has drywall on the counters and the stove. There was no forced entry on the unit and was able to have the tenant lock the doors and windows. The tenant did state that a window AC unit was on the ground that was placed in the upstairs bedroom. Did have the tenant sign the N.O.V. to Vacate and have to check with maintenance on getting the repairs done. The Redcross did show while on site and the tenant had gone to a family members home. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window and the tenant lock the door when done. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV. |
