SWG on site due to a gas line to the instahot water heater and was installed on the exterior of the unit and the gas line was hit and damage to one of the fittings and was leaking. A small size pick up hit the exterior wall and damage to the bedroom and the bathroom. The driver of the pick up lived in the unit. The water line to the unit was broken and had to turn the water line off to the whole building. The interior of the unit had approx. 3" of water through out the unit. The window to the bedroom has been pushed in and all the wood framing has been damaged from the impact and also has termite damage. The exterior wall had a covering of drywall with a epoxy paint and sand over the drywall. The bathroom tub and shower fiberglass enclosure was been damaged and pushed into the unit. The electrical was turned off at the breaker in the bathroom and the breaker at the main electrical panel due to has no meter and the property is on a master meter system. The gas was turned off at the main and is also a master system. The ACC was called due to has 96 units and all the units will have to be turned back on and checked for leaks. The gas will remain off until meeting with the ACC on site on Monday or Tuesday to check the damage. Was not able to find permits for the install of the instahot water heaters and they have regulators installed on each unit. The manager showed to the property and she signed the paperwork on site and posted Do Not Enter on the rear sliding door and the front door. Called Arcaiden Industries to the site to secure the opening in the wall. RV. |
