Met with owner regarding complaint: "raw sewage leak, bacteria in the flooring bathroom not unavailable, will demo bathroom no permit on file- possible asbestos, tenants have asthma". Upon arriving at the property I found Steamy Concepts leaving the property. The representative said they were going to give the owner a quote to clean the bathroom. Occupant stated Edge Renovation came over and repaired the flange. The toilet is no longer leaking. Looking at the bathroom the vent was covered up with paper and tape. The bathroom door was covered with a zip up door and was taped around the door and was zipped closed. Inside the bathroom was some equipment to dry out the bathroom. I stepped into the bathroom and checked the floor it appeared to be dried the room was not humid feeling. It was exceptionally warm. Took pictures of the area. Check the base of the wall outside of the bathroom. Felt the wall it did not appear to be wet ever. The carpet was not crunchy. Let the occupant know that there was not really anything I could do since the owner was taking care of the issue and they also have a second bathroom. Case closed. pictures uploaded. |
