628 pm - Called out to scene by TFD for a house fire. Arrival on scene with TFD and TPD on scene. TFD reports fire did not spread to the abutting units, which are separated by brick firewalls. The front living area of the dwelling has heavy smoke and fire damage to drywall on the walls and ceiling, ceilings have holes cut into them. There is what appears to be a structural beam that spans the width of the living room which does appear to have fire damage. The bedroom also has smoke and fire damage to drywall walls and ceiling. Water service is disconnected for non payment. Gas is tagged off at the meter for unsafe conditions. The electric meter is removed prior to arrival. The electric panel breaker box is missing the dead front and there are burn marks in the panel box. The home was previously condemned in July 2023 and appears was being illegally occupied. The home is condemned and shall be repaired or demolished with issued permits, to include the electrical panel box, within 60 days. -VM |
