Met with person house was deeded to and mother. Owner states the roof was replaced using the home insurance. No permits were pulled. Owner states they are replacing the drywall inside the house due to the numerous holes throughout the entire house. Permits required for this. Owner's mother states they have water. Owners state they are not living inside the unit. They are just cleaning up the property. Explained the account shows the service is inactive and the bill is over $1500 this will need to be paid in full before service will be re-activated. Reported the tampering to Water. Due to the lack of water and the amount of refuse on site the house was shut down. Electrical services disconnected by Code Inspector. Both owners listed on the Assessor site are deceased. New owners will need to pay off the entire bill before water will be activated a electrical reactivation permit required to have services reconnected. Doggie on site will need to be removed off the property. All refuse, feces, exterior storage will have to be removed during daylight hours only. Issued shut down paper work, indemnification form and posted house. TPD made aware of the shutdown.
