06/10/2024 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | In Violation | NOTES PG 1/2: Arrived and was informed by TFD that a fire sprinkler main line had ruptured in the attic space above Unit 1727. Tenant in Unit 1727 reported hearing a loud noise coming from the ceiling and almost immediately after water was pouring out of the ceiling. Property management had called back the same electrician who was on scene for the last pipe burst, and he was on scene upon my arrival. TEP was called to the scene and arrived shortly after my arrival. Floor 7: Water pooled in the hallway of the floor. Unit 1727 sustained extensive water damage. There was approximately one inch or more of standing water on the floor of the unit. Water was actively pouring out of the ceiling, junction boxes, light fixtures, and the HVAC system. Water caused damage to the walls of the unit and paint was bubbling and peeling. There was water found in the electrical panel and breakers and equipment were wet. Floor 6: Unit 1627 sustained similar extensive damage. There was standing water on the floor of the unit. Water was actively pouring out of the ceiling, light fixtures, and the HVAC system. Water caused damage to the walls of the unit and paint was bubbling and peeling. There was water found in the electrical panel and breakers and equipment were wet. Unit 1626 had water behind the door coming down from ceiling. No electric in this area. No water in the electric panel. Units 1625 and 1629 had no water. CONTINUED... |
