1237 PM - Met on site w occupant who allowed entry into dwelling. The dwelling is undergoing a complete remodel. Found existing non metallic sheathed cable to a switch hanging in the living area near a doorway. The middle, south side of the dwelling has walls removed and new doorways cut, changing the floor plan; exposed wires and fixtures; newly poured concrete on the foundation into what would appear to be trenches dug, with sewage lines coming out of the newly poured concrete. New plumbing lines and fittings installed in this area. Exposed uncapped wires in this area tested not live. At the south end of the home in an Arizona Room like enclosed area, found newly poured concrete on the foundation into what would appear to be trenches dug, with sewage lines, and copper water lines coming out of the newly poured concrete. Copper water lines penetrate the block structure to serve the kitchen sink. Drywall removed on the west side of the kitchen sink exposing what would appear to be plastic sewer lines replacing the existing galvanized piping. Possibly a hookup for a washer in this space. Left site at 1:00 PM, and returned at 2:09 PM to post a Stop Work Order and NOV for 16-4. Left a message for owner. -VM |
