On site at property with TPD and owner of property. A car impacted the front of the building, causing structural damages and electrical. It appears from initial inspection, the structure sustained substantial impact-related damage resulting in compromise of the exterior wall assembly, framing members, masonry façade, and associated structural components. Conditions observed constitute an unsafe structural condition requiring immediate securing, professional structural evaluation, and permitted repair prior to occupancy of the affected area. Power was shut off from the outdoor electrical boxes breakers. Gas meter was turned off too. COT contractors secured the the front of the building where the damages are. Condemnation. Owner signed forms. Permits Required. Work, repairs, restoration shall be done by a structural engineer. |
