On site with Southwest gas for a emergency call to a commercial building possible gas leak. Upon inspection of the area (utility closet)where four unpermitted water heaters are installed there is a confirmed gas leak, high carbon monoxide detection and water leaking from three of the four water heaters. There are also ventilation system issues that need to be address. These details were confirmed with a Southwest Gas technician as well as a licensed contractor that are on site. Southwest Gas has isolated gas service from water heaters numbered 1,2,3. Number 4 remains on. Gas service is to remain off until all violations have been abated. The utility closet will be secured/locked by maintenance. Apply/obtain all required permits within 60 days. All work must be done by a licensed contractor. Two copies of the NOV and business card was handed to front desk associate . |
