05/13/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and all the units have cleared and the fire investigators were on site and were leaving. The fire was in the rear of the building on the exterior of a brick building and burned into the office space through a broken window on the second floor from the fire and a sprinkler head went off. The water was staying in the office space on the second floor and going into the kitchen area underneath. The water in the kitchen was on a concrete floor in the kitchen and draining into a floor sink. The office space had outdoor carpet. The water heater was involved in the fire and is a total lost. The electrical was 3-Phase 600 AMP service and a disconnect, the electrical panel and the gutter are burned at the unit. The conduit from the CT Can feeding the damage panels was on another location and the conduit was damaged from the heat of the fire and parts were involved in the fire. There was a switch gear in another room that has a breaker to the panel that feeds this unit and were turned off. The wires were removed in the panel on the exterior wall and the electrical was turned back on to the other buildings. The sprinkler head was replaced and the fire panel was re-set and the riser was charged and all is back on line. The gas meter was pinned and the gas line to the building was involved in the fire area and will need a pressure test. The panel where the 3-Phase wires were remove had wires for the building next door and those were left connected and was working when the electrical was turned the breaker back on. T.E.P. turned the transformer off until the electrician showed to the property and made some correction. Locks were installed on panels due to were lacking. The property manager signed the paperwork on site. The owner of the business will be securing the site due to the employees will be removing items from the refrigerator and moving to another site. RV.
