05/16/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation Inspector Morales was on site and the fence was opened in several areas and has 3-people inside the fenced area and ran away when they saw inspector Morales. Tried to call the manager and not returning calls at this time. Did meet with the supervisor Laurie Pumphery and she wants management called before re-doing the securing. RV.
05/18/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation Met with the district manager and the claim adjuster from the insurance and went over on securing the fence panels with tension bands. They both stated that they are not able secure the fence panels and are able to see how the posts are being pulled out to enter the damaged area. The electrical room has been opened and more damage to the switch gear in the room. Did call the supervisor Laurie Pumphery to have the electrical doors boarded up and the fence panels having the tension bands placed on the fence panels and post to prevent some movement on the post to open the panels. Was given permission and called Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the electrical doors covered with plywood. Called Biff Baker Fence to have the tension bands installed and will be done tomorrow. The posting of Do Not Enter are still in place and the rear of the building and the trash enclosure has been tagged. RV.
05/24/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation Arrived and T.P.D. was on site with a call that someone jumping the fence. Did open the fence and the property was checked. There was 2-males on site outside the fenced area and were talked to and were just walking in the area. Did find a door in the rear on the east side that was forced opened and no one was found inside the building. Called the supervisor Laurie Pumphery and given permission to have the door pinned and boarded up. Called Arcaiden Industries to have the door secured. The postings are still in place. The tension bands have been placed on the fence panels. RV.
05/31/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation The property was checked and found people on the property and also inside the building. The fencing has been cut on the fabric to enter the building area. Also found where the old drive thru window has also been opened by pushing the plywood inside the area opened. The supervisor Laurie Pumphery gave permission to have the property re-secured once trying to get the district manager to the site. Had no return call or answer. Did call Biff Baker Fence to the site to have the property re-secured. Also called Arcaiden Industries to the site due to not able secure the window and re-secured the window. The posting are still in place on the building. The dumpster has been removed from the enclosure. RV.
06/22/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation Contractor was on site with the insurance company and they were removing the hood system. They were going to take other items that were part of the hood system and will be checking the hood for cause of the fire. All items were loaded on a flat bed truck and taken to the lab of the insurance company. They were going to re-secure the the fencing and the door that was opened when completed on checking the site and trucks area loaded. RV.
06/29/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation The property is vacant and secured. Was there on site yesterday and testing was done for Asbestos and the Demo will be done soon. T.P.D. is no longer doing the security and no damage to the fencing and no one on the property at this time. The insurance company has not been back since 6-21-2023
10/17/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation The building was being demo'ed and was removing the concrete curbs. The dumpster enclosure was to remain due to was going to be re-used on the new building going to be built on site. The temporary fence has been ordered to be picked up, has the sewer line exposed to be capped and marked. The gas and the electrical had already been removed during the fire from the building. RV.
10/18/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Passed The property has been cleared and all the equipment has been removed from the property. The permit TC-DMO-0723-00168 issued on 8-31-2023. The temporary fencing has been removed from the property and will be closing the case. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
