On site with TPD for a call to board-up a vacant and neglected residential structure. Vegetation fire initiated the emergency call to code enforcement. TPD on on site to clear vacant property of and persons or animals. Upon inspection of the property it was observed thst there are many windows and doors broken leaving the vacant structure unsecured. There is evidence of trespassers using this property as shelter. There are personal items, food, trash/debris/litter and paraphernalia throughout the interior/exterior. A makeshift sleeping area with a mattress/pillows in the interior and several containers of human waste. Interior has extensive damage from trespass. There is evidence of work done without permits such as building materials scattered throughout the interior, dry wall and portions of the ceiling removed. Property has an accumulation of trash, debris and accumulation of overgrown vegetation. All utilities have been terminated. Board-up by city contractor. "Do Not Enter" signs place up. Will refer property to VANS. NOV to follow. Re inspection TBD by area inspector. Property is condemned.-VC |
