04/15/2024 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation 412 PM - Called out to site by TFD. Fire occurred in unit 7212. Unit is completely burned. Extensive damage to walls, ceiling, electrical fixtures. Windows are broken and damaged, busted out. TEP was previously on site and cut power off at the meter. Permit required for reconnect. There is a smoke damage to the abutting upstairs unit 7201. TFD determined there was no fire damage to that unit. The door of that unit was busted open by TFD to check for fire damage. Maintenance was on site working on securing the door. Unit 7212 will be condemned. Permits required for repairs and repairs shall be commenced by a licensed contractor. Unit was posted with a red tag unsafe to occupy. Maintenance did secure the busted window along the second floor landing and began working on boarding the door. Maintenance did sign the notice of violation and the notice and order. -VM
