The home was built using a model home plan which did not depict any wall mounted fixtures. No as builts were available. Pictomertry images dating back to 2008 appear to have what appears to be the floodlight in this location, which was before the 2012 lighting code. In addition, the neighboring home, which appears to have been built by the same builder, also has similar fixtures, which makes it likely all fixtures were installed by the builder. Based upon this, there is not sufficient evidence to indicate the fixture was installed without a permit or that the fixture was replaced. I did meet the homeowner on site. I directed her to adjust one of the two lights all the way against the home. Both bulbs are now all the way against the home, pointing down. Lights appear to point at a 45° angle or less to the horizon. Based upon this, no further action will be taken on the lights at this time. Permit TC-RES-0723-06659 is in Needs Resubmittal status since December 15, 2023. Advised homeowner will have 30 days to resolve and get permit completed, otherwise citation may be issued. -VM | |
