125 PM - Arrived and found a Grand Cherokee SUV entered the Azylant Pawn Shop on the south end wall through a window opening. A brick structural wall was struck inside of the pawn shop. There is sagging in the ceiling and part of the wall has collapsed. Electrical lines are attached to this wall and have become detached. Power was turned off at the main breaker at the rear of the building. Southwest gas was on site and turned off gas at the meter. The vehicle was removed from the building. TEP was called and responded, cut off electric to the building. Permits are required for reconnect. Owner of the property was not able to be reached after multiple phone calls and voicemails were left. The owner of the pawnshop was unable to secure the building so Arcadian industries was called out to the site. The interior structural wall that was damaged was shored up. The exterior window opening was boarded and both units of the building were posted unsafe to occupy. Vegetation is obstructing access to electrical panels and needs to be cut back -VM |
