Kitchen hood has been charred from a fire. Surrounding cabinets and drywall have endured smoke damage. The electrical conductors that energized the hood were secured by electrical tape. The conductors sheathing that energize the stove felt warm and soft to the touch, the conditions of the interior of the sheathing are unknown. 50amp breaker labeled “stove” has been turned off. Legal tenants on site are aware to keep power isolated and to adequately ventilate the interior of the home prior to occupying. No other areas are found affected at the time of inspection. |
