03/26/2026 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation PAGE 1 OF 2 - 802 PM – Arrived and found TPD on site with owner of trailer. TPD states came out for a check welfare call and discovered unlivable conditions, including bedbug and other insect infestations. Upon standing at the front door, there is a very strong odor of feces and rotting garbage. Upon entering the structure, there are soft spots in the floor by the front door. There is a very strong odor of feces and trash and debris inside of the home. There are two bowls of what appears to be raw meat in the middle of the living room that are swarmed with bugs and cockroaches. There is an excessive infestation of flies inside of the unit. There is also a strong infestation of spiders with spiderwebs, covering the majority of the walls and the ceilings inside of the dwelling. Inside of the bathroom, the shower is filled with debris and the toilet tank has been removed and placed in the shower. The trashcan in the bathroom is overflowing with trash all over the floor. The sink has cockroaches crawling around inside of it and the area above the bathroom sink has a spider eating another spider. In the dining room area, there is trash and debris all over the floor and all over the table. In the kitchen, there is a massive infestation of flies, swarming out of pots and pans and dirty dishes, and there is trash and debris all over the floor and the counters of the kitchen. The sink is full of dirty dishes and has a large infestation of flies in the area. There is additional infestation of spiders in this area with spiders crawling throughout the dwelling. There appears to be bedbugs in some of the spiderwebs. NOTES CONTINUED ON SECOND INSPECTION NOTE DUE TO ENERGOV CHARACTER LIMIT
03/26/2026 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation PG 2 OF 2 - The structure in its current condition poses an inherent risk to any occupants due to the extensive amounts of trash and debris, which could become ignited and this poses a risk of fire. The excessive trash and debris as well as unsanitary conditions poses a health risk to any occupants. Due to the above listed factors, the structure is condemned and may not be occupied. Utilities are disconnected to prevent any risk of fire. Electrical is cut at the main disconnect and a City padlock is placed on the panel. Gas is off at the main disconnect. The dwelling shall be thoroughly cleaned, to include removal of trash and debris, and treated by a licensed pest control company to address the infestation. Trailer must be reinspected by Code Enforcement to lift condemnation. -VM
