Arrived on scene at 9:53 AM, TPD still on scene. Vehicle drove through the interior wall of the garage and took out the front door and a portion of the wall. Multiple 2 x 6 structural members of the wall have become detached from the sill plate. Did find 2 electrical outlets in this area that are still attached to the wall structural members. Did isolate power to the two outlets and informed the owner and occupant that the breakers need to remain off due to an inherent fire risk if power is reconnected. The area Inspector was dispatched out to the scene and will handle the case moving forward. -VM |
