03/24/2026 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation On site with tenant and Andrew's electric contractor. There was a fire at an apartment complex in a single unit D89 that caused damage to the electric service panel in the hallway. This includes heat exposure, compromised breakers and potential conductor damage. Wall surfaces surrounding the panel are damaged. The electrical panel covering is no longer affix to the panel leaving the internal components exposed. The wall assembly in the master bedroom closet at has inspection holes that have left openings and now exposed heat damaged wires. TEP has terminated service to building D. This has left five units without power four of which did not sustain fire damage. Three of the five units were vacant. All five units were condemned. The two occupied units were secured by tenants. "Do not enter" signs were placed on all units. Permits will be required within 60 days. All repairs/replacements will require licensed contractor. All forms were handed to tenant and property manager. Andrew's Electric was on site to confirm that building D was the only building affected by the fire and to complete an initial inspection for bid purposes. No work has been done at this time.
