06/23/2026 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation 1250 pm - Followup on site with property owner and tenant. Door trim replaced, door has seals and a weatherstrip, and door itself is replaced. Locking mechanism on new door is operable and the door can be closed. Outlet by front door removed and replaced with a blank cover. Heating system has been repaired and is operable per invoice from HVAC company. No signs of rodent activity in the stove or around the stove. Outlet by rear door replaced with 2 prong outlet. Ceiling drywall has been repaired in a professional manner and retextured. GFCI outlet in bathroom removed and covered with a blank plate. Outlet above bathroom sink replaced and GFCI is operable. Outlet in closet replaced with two prong outlet. Bathroom cabinets replaced wood. Signs of rodent infestation still present in bathroom. Both outlets in bedroom, and outlet behind front door replaced with two prong outlets. Smoke detectors installed in living space and inside bedroom, both tested properly. Front window now opens and closes. Evaporative cooler has been repaired and producing an interior temperature of 86 degrees. -VM
06/24/2026 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation Followup with owner at City Court. Owner provided copies of invoice from licensed electrician indicating the electrical system does not have a grounding wire for the previously referenced outlets replaced with two prong outlets. Owner also provided invoice from licensed HVAC company indicating heater is operable and gas lines are not leaking and the evaporative cooler is operable. Owner also provided an invoice for rodent infestation treatment. Owner also provided a live photo showing the rear sliding door has been replaced with a sliding door of the same size. -VM
