In Violation |
On site with owner, tenant and inspector Quijada for minimum housing inspection of a mobile home. The tenants are currently living in the structure with no electrical power. Upon inspection it came to our attention that electrical work had been recently done with out a permit. There is a new breaker box, and conduit/wiring running through the entire structure. The conduit is running along the exterior, through and into the interior. A light switch has been installed on the surface of the interior walls. Tenants have been running a gas generator abutting the property in a separate travel trailer that is currently being occupied. This travel trailer is being stored on the city street. The mobile home is condemned. Power may be restored once a complete electrical inspection is done by a licensed contractor. Within 60 days apply and obtain permits. All work must be done by a licensed contractor. Structure will stay condemned until all permits are in a pass status. Owner will secure home. Owner signed and was handed all necessary documents. "Do not enter" sign was place on sliding front door. |
